Miracle de 105 ans
Quand le géant musical musulman Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan, alors âgé de 105 ans, se produit au légendaire festival Sankat Mochan dans un temple Hindou d’Hanuman, et y chante un hymne au dieu Rama… Je n’ai pas les mots pour exprimer la joie, la chance, la magie d’avoir pû témoigner d’un tel moment ! Il meurt 2 ans plus tard, le 18 février 2016.
Muslim musical giant, Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan, then 105 years old, performs at legendary Sankat Mochan Festival – and sings a hymn to the god Rama (“bolo raam naam, bolo raam naam” – ‘Speak the name of Rama’) in a Hindu temple of Hanuman… I cannot possibly express the joy, the blessing, it felt to witness such a magical moment! He died 2 year later, on 18 February 2016.
Temple Kedareshwar (6’13)
Le long du Gange, je m’approche du temple Kedareshwar puis y rentre. Pendant ma visite, j’écoute les explications et les chants du Brahmin (prêtre) – Varanasi.
Along the Ganges, I go up to and walk around inside the temple. All the while, the Brahmin (priest) gives me some explanations and chants (Varanasi).
